Our Mission

At Weazer’s Cookies and Treats, we know that some days deserve cookies and the rest deserve cake, and because of that, we strive to BAKE people happy EVERYDAY! We want to spread joy through our unique and delicious cookies and treats, making every occasion a little sweeter and a lot more fun.

Our Story

Hi, I’m Karen — mom of three awesome boys, wife to my biggest supporter Jason, lifelong baker, and now a proud small business owner.

How did Weazer’s get it start?

Weazer’s Cookies and Treats began as more than just a love for baking — it was born from a need for healing and hope. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I found myself needing something to focus on — something creative, meaningful, and filled with joy. Baking, which had always brought comfort to me and happiness to others, became my way forward.

The name Weazer comes from our middle son, Tyler — the least likely to sneak a cookie in the house, but the most likely to inspire one! He’s our unofficial mascot and the perfect symbol for what this business stands for: unexpected joy, family fun, and lots of love.

Family Traditions

Growing up, my mom’s cookies were legendary in the neighborhood — her chocolate chip recipe is still the heart of our menu. I’ve carried that tradition into my own home, baking for our boys and their friends for years. One of my all time favorite joys is making birthday cakes for loved ones or a batch of cookies for a group of hungry people. Now, I get to share those same joyful bites and bring happiness to our community.

We built this business around our kitchen island in Ankeny, Iowa — with plenty of laughs, brainstorming, and help from our boys: Andrew, Tyler, and Jack. It’s truly a family affair, and we’re so proud to share our kitchen creations with you.
